After Donald Trump was elected President, nothing much really shocks me anymore. I'm not surprised Caitlyn Jenner is running for Governor. I do however, think it's odd that she doesn't seem to support other trans people. Granted she is rich, white and privileged, so I'm sure she didn't have to struggle as hard as some with her transition. But you would think she would still be sympathetic to those who did? Running for office could be an amazing opportunity to use her platform for good. She could be a positive role model for younger trans people. I guess I should stop giving so much credit to celebrities turned politicians though, because they only usually look out for themselves.
